General FAQ

Please see our Manuals & Brochures page here.

Every category, series and product page on our website has tailored FAQs so it's worth checking the product page itself first. Alternatively you can ask for some advice from your local Forme retailer or contact our tech team directly.

Visit our bike finder to help you make a start. If you are still unsure and would like further support please contact your local Forme retailer or contact our tech team  directly.

All weights are included on our product pages in the specification.

Every product page has a size guide which gives an indication of your most suitable frame size based on height and inside leg measurements. However, we always recommend trying some bikes for size and discussing the geometry of the bicycle with an expert. There are sometimes 2 or even 3 possible sizes which you may ride although the final choice should take leg length, torso length, arm span, flexibility, and injury into consideration.

We recommend discussing options with a specialist retailer. However, if you are looking for a general guide prior to purchasing and you sit in the middle of the range we would always suggest going for the smaller size of the 2 rather than overreaching on a bike which will be more difficult to handle.

If you are buying a child's bike and your child sits in the middle of a range we suggest going for the larger size, although you should never stretch them to a size above their maximum height range. If there is too much "growing room" , the bike's handling and stability will be compromised.

We do not stock touch-in paint for our frames. Many car and motorbike paints can often match our frame colours very closely and will supply a small container of paint over the counter if they don't already have an exact YS or Pantone match.

We are always open minded to individual and team sponsorship or ambassador agreements. Please email our marketing team with your interest or proposal to formeteam@formebikes.co.uk

The contact details for all approved dealers can be found on the Forme Dealer Locator page.

Yes, many of our expert online retailers ship outside of the UK. Please contact us and provide your address along with the bicycle/s you are interested in and we will respond with our recommended retailer.

If a bike is available on the shop floor in your size, most retailers will fine tune your bike prior to handover on the same day or within 24 hours. At peak times your retailer of choice will book in a collection time with you.

If the bike is not available on the shop floor, we do our best to ensure inventory is made available to all Forme retailers. One the retailer has ordered with us the bike is usually delivered within 24 hours although this can take between 3 and 5 days for off shore retailers in Ireland and the Channel Islands.

Most online retailers will provide you with a tracking link following order confirmation so you should refer to this in your confirmation email. If your retailer has ordered with Forme for in store collection we recommend calling or emailing the retailer although our retailers should have confirmed and committed to an available collection time at point of order.

If you have purchased a bicycle from inventory on the shop floor, you will need to notify your retailer as soon as possible prior to collection.

If the bike is not available on the shop floor and has been ordered by your retailer, we will have begun processing the order so it can only be cancelled by informing your retailer who will have committed to purchasing the bicycle for you.
