As the cross season reaches the mid-point, the racing doesn't seem to be dying down. Forme's Notts and Derby Cyclo-Cross League is certainly no exception with rounds 7 and 8 taking place on consecutive weekends.
Forme and Sherwood Pines rider David Fletcher raced at round 7, hosted at Berry Hill Park on his Forme Calver just to test his legs before the National Trophy Round at Shrewsbury. He was riding well and took the win after breaking away from a strong group of 5 riders.
Sherwood Pines also had Chris Hilbert riding in the under 14 category at round 7, and then at round 8 at Markeaton. He took a convincing win at both on his Forme Hiver. Chris is very prominent in the Notts and Derby races having won every round so far and is even working his way through the under 16 field.
Zepnat Cycles have recently taken delivery of a batch of Forme Calver bikes, and it's great to see how they have personalised them with orange bars and stickers. It is great to see so many other people riding the Calver throughout the day. There's a short break now before the next round up in Bakewell. We look forward to seeing you there.
